Welcome to Primary 6!
We have had a fabulous start to the year. Our first topic is Light and Colour and we are looking forward to a first term full of science experiments, music and art. We are already working hard but having LOTS of fun along the way, especially in Mental Maths when we sing in our counting choir and play number games.
After Christmas, we can't wait to learn all about the Vikings and dress up for our Viking Day. We may even get to act like real Vikings, orienteering our way around the school grounds to find points of interest! The Spring Term brings our Eco-Warriors topic where we write persuasive articles to encourage people to take notice of environmental issues and use Green Screen technology to make our own adverts.
We are super excited to go on our favourite trip of all in February - GANAWAY! We will stay overnight and take part in lots of fun activities. Our teacher has also said that they will make us hot chocolate before bedtime - what a treat!
