A key element in the pastoral care of your child is a close relationship between home and school. Together in partnership we aim to promote self-esteem, develop confidence and encourage positive attitudes and high standards of behaviour.

Behaviour

In keeping with our policy on behaviour, we adopt a positive behaviour policy. Great emphasis is placed on praising and rewarding positive behaviours. Instances of misbehaviour will be dealt with in a calm, clear and direct way and staff will talk to children about what behaviours are acceptable.

Should a pattern start to develop, staff will speak to you and we will decide how best to move forward together in supporting your child. At all times, we will make it clear to your child that it is the behaviour that is not liked and that they are still loved and respected.
