This website has been created to communicate with our school community, but also to serve as a  prospectus for those who are browsing to find out more about Ballymagee and what happens at our school.

Staff

Our teaching and non-teaching staff are dedicated, caring and hardworking. All have the best interests of the children at the heart of their work. We provide quality teaching and learning in a warm, safe and caring environment, developing children’s knowledge, understanding and skills as well as their imaginative and creative abilities. In partnership with parents we nurture and support children in developing their confidence and independence and in increasingly understanding themselves, others, the community in which they live and the wider world.

The School Building

Ballymagee Primary School opened in September 1994 with the Nursery Unit opening its doors in 2014. Built in the Bangor East district, Ballymagee Primary & Nursery Unit is situated off Ashbury Avenue, between Gransha and Ballycrochan Roads.

Ballymagee offers exceptionally high quality, purpose built accommodation. Our school is set in extensive, landscaped grounds with safe play areas, grass sports pitches, a state of the art outdoor play facility and an eco trail. Inside the school the classrooms and learning areas are bright, spacious and well equipped. Our school is designed to enable full access for children with mobility difficulties and we are committed to meeting the needs of all children.
