In partnership with parents and the community, we seek to empower children to reach their full

potential through technologically rich, varied and stimulating learning opportunities which

maximise individual skills and talents.

By cultivating a love of learning we will enable our children to become independent thinkers, life-long learners, responsible future citizens and confident, caring contributors to society, in an ever

changing world.

Aims

In partnership with parents we nurture and support children in:

• Acquiring appropriate knowledge, skills, concepts and attitudes;
• Developing their confidence & independence;
• Developing and sustaining a sense of self-worth and self-esteem;
• Increasingly understanding themselves, others, the community in which they live and the wider world;
• Developing and sustaining important social skills;
• Developing self-discipline within an environment which promotes positive behaviour and attitudes towards people and their property;
• Learning about and respecting the environment and playing their part in conserving precious resources; and
• Making healthy lifestyle choices.
