Hello!
It’s hard to believe we are now into our second half term of Primary 7.
We came back after half term and started our ‘Let’s Celebrate’ topic. We have been exploring how celebrations are different around the world and also looking at how different families in our school community celebrate various events.
One of our favourite celebrations on the calendar is fast approaching… Christmas! We have even started preparing some of our Christmas artwork! Rumour has it that Christmas music could be heard coming from the P7 classroom’s as early as the first week of November!
We have been learning new skills each Friday during P.E. in our Badminton sessions with Johnny from Ulster Badminton. It has been great fun to try out a sport which many of us had little or no experience of. It has encouraged some of us to consider taking up Badminton as a regular activity.
Primary 7 have been working so hard in school and we are all eagerly counting down to our residential to Greenhill in January.

Class P7A
Welcome to Primary 7!
We have two Primary 7 classes and our teachers are Mr McCrea and Miss Anderson. Our Classroom Assistants are Mrs Hegarty, Mrs McNabb and Mrs Stevenson.
We have had a busy start to the new school year. Our first topic is The Wonderful World of India and we are having a first term full of colourful art lessons, taste testing, music and much more.
After our Halloween break, we begin our Let’s Celebrate topic and we learn about Christmas and different festivals from all around the globe.
After Christmas, we can't wait to learn all about the RMS Titanic and go on our trip to the Titanic Museum in Belfast. In January we will also head off on our P7 residential to Greenhill YMCA in Newcastle, County Down where we will be having so much fun zooming down ziplines, climbing up walls and running around forests playing Laser Tag!
We are so excited to take part in our P7 Production in May. Watch this space for more details!
