P3 Mrs Corbett & Mrs Arbuckle
Welcome back to our final term in P3 ........ The children in P3CA are delighted to be back at school after the Easter break and especially pleased to have started our new topic of "Whatever the Weather!" Through this topic we hope to find out more about the many different types of weather on Earth, how it is recorded and how we can look after our planet to stop extreme weathers caused by humans. We look forward to spending more time in our outdoor learning areas as the Weather in NI improves. We have just enjoyed our whole school arts week and explored how to be creative with music, drama and art. This week, through play we have been making and recording our own weather forecasts. Lots of sunshine forecast in P3!!! Please enjoy our photos
Welcome to P3CA.
The children have settled wonderfully well to the new school year and are keen to be back after the half term break.
This term brings great fun and excitement as we look forward to the Christmas activities within school.
Our new topic is “May the Force be with you!” Through this topic we explore forces and the movement of energy.
Our amazing play area has been transformed into a Space Station command centre and an airport. In P3 we have superb imaginations during our Activity Based Learning time. We also are beginning to explore our science skills through STEM investigations.
As our year progresses, we are developing a greater understanding of Mental Maths Strategies through our Maths Monsters. Our favourite maths monster so far must be Reorder Rose!!
Please enjoy looking at our class photos.
Welcome to P3CA.
The children have settled wonderfully well after half term and are excited to be preparing for our Spring Concert. This is an opportunity for us to join with all the Key Stage and showcase our drama and singing skills.
Our new topic is “Weird and Wild Spring!” Through this topic we explore nature in the world around us. We are especially excited to be learning about animal lifecycles.
Our amazing play area has been transformed into a Garden Centre and café! It is possibly even more beautiful than Donagadee’s garden centre!
In P3 we have superb imaginations during our Activity Based Learning and are pleased to be able to explore this more in our outside play areas as the weather improves.
As our year progresses, we continue to develop a greater understanding of Mental Maths Strategies through our Maths Monsters. Our favourite maths monsters so far are Reorder Rose and Count on Connie!
