Class Organisation

 

Ballymagee Primary has fourteen classes, two of each year group from Years 1 to 7, with children ranging in age from 4 to 11 years old. The class teachers plan and work closely together to ensure consistency across the year group.

 

Children are allocated classes on the basis of date of birth, existing boy/girl ratios and existing class numbers. All of our classes are mixed ability and in order to meet individual needs children will, at times, be taught in ability groups with their class.
